About Atreides Real Estate Development

Investing for decades, and for generations

I’m Brett Bringardner. I invest in and develop real estate in Marietta, Ohio and Parkersburg, West Virginia, and I do it with a long view. I buy to hold, improve and pass on: decades, or multiple generations.

Today that means rental homes. Some are furnished, with utilities included, for traveling professionals and temporary workers. Others are traditional single-family rentals. It also means Ravens Ridge, a wooded property in Marietta where we’re planning a small neighborhood of modern, all-electric rental homes set among the trees.

I also have a soft spot for old trees. Through urban logging, we take down aging city trees, mill them into lumber with real character, and use some of it in our own homes.

Land runs in the family. My late father, Albert Bringardner, was a land broker, auctioneer and investor in Tuscarawas and Harrison counties in the 1990s, doing business as Rainbow Land.
